Sarah Molony BHSc, Dip. Qigong, BA

Sarah is a warm and engaging Traditional Chinese Medical practitioner with thirteen combined years of clinical experience in Qigong and Acupuncture. Sarah has a Bachelor of Health Science Degree in Acupuncture and a Diploma in Qigong from the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she graduated top of her class.

Sarah has extensive experience treating musculoskeletal conditions including acute and chronic pain, tension, oedema, arthritis and neuropathy. In addition, mental-emotional conditions including stress, addiction, anxiety and depression as well as insomnia, migraines and digestive issues are commonly treated in her clinic.

Sarah’s major area of interest is women’s health. This includes gynaecological issues such as menstrual problems, period pain and PMS (premenstrual tension), fertility concerns, pregnancy, postpartum care, and menopause. (By extension, traditional Chinese medicine is very helpful for men’s health and is commonly addressed when looking at couple’s fertility.)

With her passion for healing and helping others, Sarah has practised in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the Caribbean, Europe and Bali; both in private clinics, a community clinic, an international spa and a qigong retreat. Sarah’s patients have been from all walks of life and at all ages and stages. Following her travels, Sarah has come back to settle in her home town to grow roots of her own in the beautiful Bay of Plenty.

“I feel privileged to treat people and help them to heal themselves. We are each on a journey and I count myself as very lucky to help people on their own paths to wellness. My love of people and learning and sharing their stories spur my continued practise of traditional Chinese medicine, which transforms lives in remarkable ways.”
